Lost Lore Reposado Tequila

Lost Lore Reposado is a premium, 100% blue Weber agave tequila crafted in the Los Altos (Highlands) region of Jalisco, Mexico. It is highly regarded by enthusiasts for being confirmed additive-free by Tequila Matchmaker and produced using traditional, craft-focused methods.

The production process heavily influences its clean and complex flavor profile:

  • NOM: 1414 (Destilería El Ranchito, operated by the respected Vivanco family).

  • Master Distiller: Sergio Cruz (affectionately nicknamed "El Mago").

  • Cooking: Slow-roasted in traditional stone/brick ovens.

  • Fermentation: Done in stainless steel tanks using champagne yeast. The distillery notably plays classical/Mozart music during this phase to stimulate the yeast.

  • Distillation: Double-distilled in copper pot stills.

  • Aging: Rested for up to 12 months in used American white oak whiskey barrels (specifically ex-Jack Daniel's casks).
